Three students from Hobart and William Smith Colleges recently participated in the 96th Annual Meeting of the Eastern Psychological Association held in New York City. Lauren Legler, Lindsay Ringbloom, and Payton Kliesch, all from the class of 2025, presented their original research focusing on mindfulness, mental health, and behavior.
The conference provided an excellent platform for these students to share their independent studies with a professional audience. Their research not only highlights the importance of mental health in today's society but also contributes to the ongoing discourse in the field of psychology. The students worked closely with their professors to develop their presentations, demonstrating the strong mentorship and collaborative spirit fostered at Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
The opportunity to present at such a prestigious event allowed the students to engage with fellow researchers and professionals, further enhancing their academic experience and paving the way for future endeavors in psychology and related fields.
